The Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Gangyap successfully organised a two days Drug Awareness Programme aimed at sensitizing students about the dangers of substance abuse and promoting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

Day 1:
The programme began with insightful talks by peer educators and students, who highlighted the harmful effects of substance abuse and shared preventive measures to help their peers make informed and responsible choices. Their active participation made the session both interactive and impactful.

Day 2:
Creative and engaging activities were conducted to reinforce the message of awareness. A poster-making competition was organised for junior students, encouraging them to express their understanding of a healthy lifestyle through art. Simultaneously, a quiz competition was held for senior students to test their knowledge and deepen awareness on the topic.

The two days programme concluded with a collective pledge to lead a drug-free life and to spread the message of awareness among peers and the community.
