Today, the Sikkim State AIDS Control Society (SSACS), Gangtok, in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club Sikkim, observed National Youth Day 2026 with various awareness and interactive activities at the Programme Hall, Industrial Training Institute (ITI), Kewzing (Bakhim), Namchi District.
The programme was graced by Mr. Kishor Baniya Chettri, State Coordinator, Red Ribbon Club Sikkim, and Mr. Namgyal Sherpa, Youth Motivator, who attended the programme as Resource Persons and motivated the youth on issues related to leadership, social responsibility, and health awareness.
On this occasion, Mr. N. T. Lepcha, Headmaster, Mangbrue Primary School, the Principal, ITI Kewzing, Nodal Teacher of Red Ribbon Club, faculty members of ITI Kewzing, youth club members, and executive members of NGOs from Mangbrue, Kewzing, and adjoining areas were present. Their participation contributed to the successful observance of National Youth Day and strengthened community engagement among young people.
