Integrated Health Camp Held at Rumbuk & Sailey Golai

nder the theme โ€œMy Health, My Wealthโ€ ๐Ÿ’ชโœจ, an Integrated Health Camp was successfully organized at Rumbuk, Sombaria on 24th March, followed by an outreach programme at Sailey Golai on 25th March.

This initiative was conducted with the support of the Sikkim State AIDS Control Society (SSACS) and the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Sikkim.

To spread awareness about HIV & STIs and encourage people to come forward for testing without fear or stigma โค๏ธ

๐Ÿฉบ Services Provided FREE of Cost:

โœ”๏ธ TB screening

โœ”๏ธ Blood Pressure (BP) check-up

โœ”๏ธ Random Blood Sugar (RBS) testing

โœ”๏ธ Dental & Eye check-ups ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ๐Ÿฆท

โœ”๏ธ Free medicines ๐Ÿ’Š

๐Ÿ“Š Impact:

๐Ÿ“ Rumbuk (24th March): 128 tests conducted

๐Ÿ“ Sailey Golai (25th March): 25 tests conducted

๐Ÿค The programme was coordinated by Hissey Doma Sherpa, Social Welfare Inspector (WCDD), with active support from BDO, GPU President Sheela Subba, local panchayats, police personnel ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ, and dedicated medical teams from SSACS, Soreng, and Sombaria.

๐Ÿฅ Patients requiring further treatment will be referred to hospitals in Geyzing and other centers for continued care.

๐ŸŒŸ This initiative highlights the importance of accessible healthcare and awareness services in rural communities, ensuring no one is left behind.
