An Intensified IEC (Information, Education & Communication) Campaign was successfully conducted at the Sowa Rigpa (Tibetan Medicine) facilities within the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology (NIT) complex, Deorali, Gangtok.
The campaign was led by Ms. Tshering Ongmu Lepcha, Assistant Director (GIPA), and Ms. Mayhendo Theeng Tamang, Assistant Director (ICTC).
A total of 111 individuals were tested, and all results were negative.
The tests included:
HIV
Hepatitis B
Hepatitis C
VDRL (Syphilis)
Random Blood Sugar
