An Intensified IEC Campaign cum Integrated Health Camp (IHC) was organized at the Futsal Arena from 12th to 15th September 2025, coinciding with the Inter-College Futsal Tournament.
The programme was conducted in collaboration with the SKM Student Wing. The camp was facilitated by the SSACS team, led by Ms. Binita Lama (STI In-charge) and Ms. Saruna Tamang (Admin Assistant), along with the Mobile Medical Team.
Over the four-day event, participants and visitors were provided with free screening and counseling services. Tests were conducted for HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Random Blood Sugar (RBS), and other basic health parameters.
The camp successfully integrated health awareness with a youth-centered sporting event, ensuring wider outreach and active participation.
The finals of the 1st Sikkim Government Inter-College Futsal Tournament were graced by Smt. Sharda Tamang Golay, wife of the Hon’ble Chief Minister. The occasion was also attended by several dignitaries, including:
